Hawzah News Agency- Hojatoleslam Farrokhfal, head of the secretariat of the Supreme Council of Islamic Seminaries, made the remarks during a gathering with staff, professors, and students of the al-Mahdi Seminary in Ramsar, northern Mazandaran Province.
"Today, the enemy must know that the blood of our martyred leader has awakened and mobilized everyone. There is no longer any place for the enemy in this country, nor will these nonsense-speakers find any standing among the nation," Farrokhfal said.
Velayat-e Faqih at the heart of Islamic governance
Addressing the gathering, the senior cleric underlined the centrality of Velayat-e Faqih (Guardianship of the Jurist) in the Islamic system of governance.
"Velayat-e Faqih is an extension of the authority of the Infallible Imams and the Holy Prophet of Islam, and the authority of the Prophet is an extension of the sovereignty of the Almighty—for the establishment, continuity, and guarantee of divine governance," he said.
Farrokhfal emphasized that Islam is safeguarded through the continuation of the current of leadership across various dimensions of society and across different eras.
"The reason you see the enemy directing all its efforts at destroying Velayat is that it knows the true enemy of arrogance is pure Muhammadan Islam," he added.
Why the West targets Iran alone
The senior cleric described Velayat as the soul and essence of Islam, noting that while there are many Islamic countries in the world, global arrogance and Zionism have concentrated all their efforts on suppressing Iran's system of governance.
"Why do the arrogant powers and the Jews dedicate all their energy to crushing this governance? Because they know that a system centered on Velayat-e Faqih will leave no room for Zionism in the world," he stated.
Resistance costs less than surrender
Farrokhfal pointed to the developments in Syria following the fall of Bashar al-Assad's government, stressing that "the cost of resistance is far less than the cost of surrender."
"The Islamic Republic of Iran stands alone against arrogance and Zionism, and has shattered the aura of the Great Satan. This means Zionism can no longer bully the world as it once did," he said.
Seminaries vow unwavering support
The member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom affirmed that the clergy and Islamic seminaries stand firmly alongside the Muslim Ummah.
"Today, all the clergy and Islamic seminaries are standing with the Ummah until their last drop of blood. They will not rest until they break the back of the enemy," Farrokhfal declared.
"Insha'Allah, this system will culminate in the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (may Allah hasten his advent), and the enemy must know that from now on, it will see no good days."
Earlier in the session, Hojatoleslam Mahmoud Alikhani, the Friday prayer leader of Ramsar, presented a history of the city's seminary and its prominent scholars. Hojatoleslam Esmailzadeh, director of the Mazandaran Province Seminary, also reported on the province's cultural and social challenges and outlined measures taken to address them, urging officials to prioritize cultural affairs in the current climate.
